Badger At The Waterhole

Badger At The Waterhole

Painted for a charity fundraiser held in Australia for the Christchurch Mosque shootings in New Zealand during March 2019. Director of the Grafton Regional Gallery, Niomi Sands, kindly offered space within the Gallery to host the show which will opened on Saturday 4th of May 2019.

Badger At The Waterhole is a peaceful scene juxtaposed with chaotic marks structuring an intimate view of a badger drinking calmly from the waterhole. Bright colours and stark contrasting shades with expressive line and drip work are featured to highlight the badger and the surrounding natural landscape.
